    Interesting poem. It is very difficult to grade any 100 days, but Obama first few months in office have been relatively mixed, but I think it is important to see whether he can strengthen his grade, whether this is a B minus, B+ or A-

    Thank you for your response. I do think he’s been dealt an amazing set of cards. And, as a mother, I’m happy with A’s and B’s. I remember when my cousin was elected state rep, the advice from fellow democrats was, “Don’t be an embarrassment.” It’s nicer to have higher expectations than that. But the presidency is also like parenting in the sense that you don’t really get to prepare for it, but there is no real time for a learning curve either. And the pressure is on to get it right the first time. No matter what their politics, I wish all presidents good luck.
